Meds, Doctors, and Being Fat

So one thing you might hit the books about as a fat girl is the tendency for doctors to furnish you a really high process of medication. My doctors always do this with anything they think they need to. A lot of times in my opinion it isn't necessary. I convey. Ibuprofen is one thing- I've been taking 3 of those in 1 dose ever since I was in Junior High educate. But the docs always double the dose of antibiotics if I get sick- and it just messes with my body. I mean seriously! They give me DOUBLE the normal dose and I end up with the worst yeast infection ever feeling desire crap and seriously screwed over. I haven't been sick since I figured that out so I haven't addressed it with a adulterate but antibiotics never used to do that to me. Not process they doubled my process. Aside from the whole meds thing (Which I swear. I ordain be broaching when it comes to it next time I be to go to the doc for antibiotics) going to the adulterate for me is stressful in general- and all of it centers around my weight (don't give me any of this "Well suffer some if it's such a evince to you- I'm trying). I go in with lets say. I dunno.. come up lets use strep throat as an example. Here's the setup for the measure time I had a bout of Strep:It was the middle of summer- 100s every day at 7pm it would comfort be 99 degrees F outside and it did not cool down except for a small amount of measure between about maybe 1am and 4am during which I'm blissfully able to sleep. The rest of the time I'm walking around in a stupor or in bed tossing and turning because I undergo a fever of 102 F and I can't sweat. I go to the emergency clinic because it's the pass off from college and I don't have a primary care physician where I am living for the summer. When I get there they take my temp act a throat grow and say "Yep probably strep." They create verbally me a scrip for antibiotics (Doubling the dose but not telling me) and then they start asking me about my charge. "What are you doing about your charge?" "Is your charge up or down from the last time you went to the adulterate?" etc. Always the same thing. Sometimes "Do you want me to bring down X weight loss medicate?" But always the same with the focusing on the charge. Honestly you'd evaluate I've never been to the doctor. honestly! But back to the meds- It's a problem I have. I have a feeling that medical dosage is not as exact as they'd undergo us accept anyway- the more I hit the books the more I am pretty sure that they are fudging a lot. But I sure as heck experience this "1 size fits all" approach to medicine isn't working for anyone- be it stick thin average sized or large populate. Humans are too different- maybe the other 400 pound person that came in needed a doubled process of antibiotics to blackball the bacteria but I sure didn't. It fucked my be up more than it was worth. I don't expect the situation to get better any measure soon. [ADVERTHERE]Related article:
